Making a donation

how you make your donation is entirely your choice

The Yorkton & District Community Foundation appreciates donations of any size.


There is opportunity for individuals and corporations wishing to create their own personal legacies with donations of $5,000 of more. Donations are endowed and the income earned is used to support qualified donees in perpetuity. If you are interested in finding out how to make your gift last forever, please email us to request a telephone call or to meet with one of our donation advisers. Email info@ydcf.ca 


There are various ways you can make a donation:


Donate online (using your credit card, Interac or Paypal) at CanadaHelps.ca or on our online donation page. Your charitable donation receipt will be issued directly by CanadaHelps. Donations can be made one-time or set to be reoccurring.  Canada Helps changes a small administration fee for online donations.  Donors will receive a receipt for the full amount of their donation. The amount received by Yorkton & District Community Foundation is your donation amount less the administration fee. If you wish to avoid payment of the administration fee by the Foundation, you have the option of downloading our donation form and mailing in your donation.


Gifts made by cheque or credit card. Please use the printable donation form below and make cheques out to Yorkton & District Community Foundation. If you indicate you wish to pay by credit card, we will contact you for the credit card information. A charitable donation receipt will be mailed to you for the year in which the contribution was made. Mail your form (and cheque if applicable) to: Yorkton & District Community Foundation Inc., Box 304, Yorkton, SK S3N 2W1.


Official charitable donation receipts will be issued for all donations of $25 or larger.


Gift of securities. Please email info@ydcf.ca to arrange a meeting with one of our donation advisors.


Charitable bequest or life insurance gifts. If you are considering leaving a bequest to the Foundation in your will or are naming YDCF as the beneficiary of your life insurance policy, please email info@ydcf.ca to arrange a meeting with one of our donation advisors.


Other non-cash gifts. If you are considering donating real estate or other non-cash gifts to the Community Foundation, please email info@ydcf.ca to arrange a meeting with one of our donation advisors.
